Dictated by the weather Gods, we brought in all our Chardonnay at once, and in any other given year, the results could have been much different to the results we achieved.
We harvested grapes with an average sugar level but with an unusually high acid, which ended up being a blessing in disguise, as we managed to get through full malolactic ferment adding a soft creamy texture to light but fruity Chardonnay that had only a little oak influence during primary ferment.


Pale Golden in colour.

First impressions on the nose are of quince with an afternote of rockmelon and ginger. On the palate our Chardonnay presents itself with perfumed notes of feijoa and pear, with a subtle crispness that balances between savoury and sweet notes to perfection.

This Chardonnay is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious risotto, warm lamb and feta salad, or a spicy Asian stir fry. Great for after a hard day's work drink or with your nightly meal.
